  • How do I clean bottles?

To ensure your bottles have a long life here are a few tips:
Coloured, painted bottles, should be Hand Washed. For daily cleaning, wash bottles in warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly and leave to drain.
For more thorough cleaning use a bottle brush and give it a good scrub inside particularly after smoothies and juices.
If your bottle begins to smell we recommend either soaking in a sterilising solution like Milton Fluid or using baking powder to neutralise any nasty niffs.
Only sports caps are suitable for the dishwasher.
The paints and inks we use on our bottles are lead free and toxin free and we endeavour to ensure they are environmentally responsible. These inks are not as impenetratable as solvent heavy inks and, as with anything which is painted, it is possible to scratch or chip the paintwork. To ensure your painted bottle keeps looking tip top please handwash it and if you are concerned about it getting scratched or damaged invest in a protective jacket.

  • Can I dishwash bottles and caps?

Any cap which is hollow should not be washed in a dishwasher in case it fills with water, any other cap can be placed in the dishwasher. Bottles can safely be washed in a dishwasher but we do recommend handwashing painted or coloured bottles just in case it affects the painted finish.

  • What size are the bottles?

    See our product dimensions page.

Yes, see our bespoke bottle guide.

  • Can I put hot liquids in the bottles?

Yes, but the bottle will get very hot so either use a jacket or invest in a vacuum flask.

  • Can I put acidic drinks in the bottles?

Yes. Stainless steel 304 grade is resistant to acids. Ensure you wash the bottle thoroughly after sweet drinks.

  • Can I freeze the bottles?

We wouldn't recommend it but we are aware of many customers who do put the bottles in the freezer. Ensure the bottle is upright and without a cap as the liquid will expand when frozen.

  • How long will the bottle last?

Bottles will last indefinitely as long as they don't suffer excessive wear and tear. Caps should be replaced more frequently for hygiene reasons.

  • Which sports cap would you recommend for Adults?

We recommend the Big Flipper cap for adults and sports people as you get a great glug of water and it is easy to open.  NOTE: it can become accidentally opened if it knocks against something in a sports bag or handbag.
