Who is The Gruffalo event for?
This event has something for all ages of the family! Young children can have fun meeting the Gruffalo, playing with other kids during the activities and exploring the gardens.
For adults, there is the One Market to browse, and the café to enjoy a coffee and some baked goods.
Who are BOTL?
Botl (aka One Green Bottle) is a small, B Corp certified business based at Shoreham Port. Founded by Heather, whose scientific background inspired a mission to create safe, reusable stainless-steel bottles and coffee cups, Botl is committed to reducing single‑use plastics and making high‑quality, long‑lasting alternatives that don’t cost the earth.
Who are One Garden Brighton?
One Garden Brighton is a beautifully restored Victorian walled garden located in Stanmer Park. Home to ornamental gardens, a seasonal plant nursery, an artisan market, and a bright, welcoming café, One Garden Brighton is a space designed for families and nature lovers.
Managed by Plumpton College, the gardens are free to explore and offer a mix of horticulture, community, education, and local makers, all with an emphasis on sustainability-making it the perfect backdrop for our Gruffalo‑themed celebration.

Securing an official license for these beloved characters is a huge milestone for us as a small company. Considering Botl was founded by a parent looking for a safe children’s bottle, it feels like a full circle moment launching a dedicated range of kids bottles with officially licensed characters.
