Everything you need to know about Vegan Leather

Vegan Leather is a cruelty free alternate to leather. It can be used in all the same way as the animal alternate but without any of the cruelty.

There are a wide range of ways to make it ranging from polyurethane to recycled materials such as cork, apple peels, pineapple leaves, cactus and recycled plastic.  This is a brilliant way of making an incredibly sustainable solution to a very damaging problem. More than a billion animals are slaughtered for their skin each year, and the environmental impacts of feeding and raising these animals for their skin to produce leather are significant. Leather production is also incredibly unsustainable due to the energy and toxic chemicals used in the process.

There are vegan alternates for almost every leather product out there now. Jackets, wallets and even car seats can now be made from vegan leather.

And of course, there’s our vegan bottle carriers. They come in faux real! and no bull!  shades and offer all the style of real leather without any of the environmental impact.
